Owl Card

I lifted the sentiment from my cricut friend Shelly. I just love this owl from happily ever after. It says, thanks for giving a hoot!

The branch is from Joys of the season, and the tag from tags bags boxes and more. I added some dew drops to where the berries would be and a couple of prima flowers.

Irish Birthday blessing

Barbiegoose made a card just like this a long time ago. When I saw hers I knew I had to have this stamp.

The inside of the card says:

May the light always find

you on a dreary day.

When you need to be home

may you find your way.

May you always have courage

to take a chance,

and never find frogs in

your underpants.

Bee with Star

I'm still working on the cards for the woman that placed an order wanting bees and stars and cards that said hey. So on this one I incorporated it all into one card. For some reason this looked much better "in my mind's eye", but here it is.

Buzzing by......

I was asked to make some cards with bumble bees on them. Here are the 2 I have made to date. I need to try to cut the bee from the circut walk in my garden cartridge to make some more.

Get Well Card

I just love the House Mouse stamps. This one is perfect for a get well card!

Merci

This card was scraplifted from KittyMalone, a cricut sister. Hers had much more detail and was just gorgeous. Her awesome talent shows in everything she makes. this is my version of the card.

Note Card

A friend recently had a birthday. She is a teacher and is always looking for something different to send home notes with her students. As a birthday gift, I made her a set of 12 of these cards.

I used my all time favorite embossing folder, Swiss Dots and nestibilities for the flower.

Butterfly Card

I wanted to send my Cricut secret sister a thank you for a wonderful gift she sent me. She loves butterflies so I used this butterfly verse and the cuttlebug cut and emboss butterfly. For something a little different I made it a slider card. The scalloped insert card was cut from New Arrival and the envelope was from Going Places. I used the luxury stack, and wrote my note on the back side of the insert.

The verse says, Nature's message was always there for us to read. It was written on the wings of a butterfly

My first Magnolia stamp

I have been in love with these stamps ever since I first saw some on the cricut message board. I searched high and low and finally found that they can only be purchased here in the US by buying them online. They are from Sweden and I was able to find them at http://www.dreamcottage.nu/. I think they are just precious.

The scalloped circles were made with Nestabilities.

Just chicken in

This was the first time I used the French hen cut from joys of the season. I added a little moss sticking out of the basket to add some dimension.

Baby girl card

This card was made using co-ordinating papers from the baby girl stack. I lined the envelope with matching paper. The rattle is from new arrival and the scalloped circles are from mini-monograms.

Life ain't always beautiful

...but it's a beautiful ride. I love that song and wanted to use the lyrics on a card. I was inspired by a card my friend Shelly from the cricut message board made. The grass and flowers were all cut from Plantin schoolbook and the lady bug and caterpillar are from walk in my garden.

You'll always be a star

I made this card for someone with the last name Star. The address book was cut from My Community and I layered several pages, added alpha tabs and hand wrote address book and the lines. The tag was cut from tags, bags, boxes and more.
