Faith

I made this card for a friend who was just diagnosed with leukemia. He's having a rough time of it and has just finished a pretty intensive round of chemo. Faith was cut from Home Accents solution cartridge and I really don't remember what size. The calling bird was cut from joys of the season and once again I didn't write down the size. Thanks for looking and happy crafting.

St. Paddy's Day seed packets

Every year my sister and her family have a St. Patricks Day party. I thought these would make perfect party favors. Each seed packet holds some green jelly beans. The Shamrocks were cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge at 1 3/4" and 3/4". The packets are personalized with name and town.

Wild Card

This is the first card I made with the Wild Card cartridge, (of course I choose the easiest one)

But this is great for a quick card. I cut the envelope first at fit to page, let it calculate and then cut the card at that size. I don't have my notes in front of me but I think it was 5 1/2"

An Altered Journal for the my sewing friend

I made this for a good friend of mine who is always making quilts or sewing goodies for her grandchildren. It didn't start out to be a sewing journal at all. But when I used the image I realized that it is a vintage advertisement for thread, so I just took it from there. Thanks so much for stopping by and would love for you to leave a comment, it makes me smile!!

The Rooster May Crow

I found an awesome blog that is run by Abbie and she offers all sorts of free vintage images. Please go check it out..http://thevintagemoth.blogspot.com/

The picture and annual egg record ledger both came from her blog. I cut the scalloped frame from Cricut Stretch your imagination (card frame shift) at 5" and the Jasmine corner (blackout) at 5"

What a wonderful thing!!

What a nice surprise that Carole awarded me this great award. It's such an honor. Please go vist Carole's blog at http://www.crayola58a.blogspot.com/ I promise you will be amazed by her talent.

Okay, the rules for this is that I have to list 5 of my addictions and 5 of my favorite blogs.

Here are the addictions I am willing to confess to, LOL

diet coke

paper

ribbon

embellishments

and I am recovering Department 56 addict.

It is almost impossible for me to come up with 5 favorite blogs, but if you are here visiting my blog then I would like to pass this award onto you. Leave a comment so I can visit you and see what you are addicted to. I hope 2009 is treating everyone good so far.
