Altered Notebook

I needed a $5 Chinese Auction gift so decided to alter a composition book. The paper is fancy pants. On the inside of the front cover I added a pocket to hold notes. I did add Jasmine corners to the top right and bottom right corners but didn't get another picture of it.These are so easy to do and have so many uses.

Just a little hostess gift

Made this for a hostess gift. I made 8 note cards, 4 thanks you and 4 just a note. I thought about just tying them together with a ribbon, but decided to try to make a folder for them. I used a 12 X 12 piece of card stock, scored it at 6" and 4" in the other direction. Folded up the 4" piece sewed the outer edges to form pockets and then folded in half. Embellished the front and added eyelets to the edge of the opening to add ribbon to tie it shut.

Anniversary Card

I hope everyone had a great Memorial day weekend. Those 3 day weekends just fly by. Life keeps getting in the way of my card making but I have posted a few I have managed to get done.
This is an anniversary card I made. I totally scraplifted this and wish I knew from who. I had printed out a picture last year of a card someone made and came across it recently. If it was you leave a comment and I'll make sure you get the credit.

Altered pop top can

I finally got around to making the altered poptop can with a matching card. This one was made with one of the small vegetable cans. What fun! Here's the link with the directions.

Baby Boy card

This card was made with New Arrival and mini-monograms cartridges. The rattle was cut @ 2 and I'm sorry but I can't remember what size the scalloped circles were cut at. The solid cardstock was dry embossed with Cuttlebug divine swirls.

Monogram card

I have been trying to cut all the cards on the cartridges I have, so that I have an idea what they look like. This one I cut the envelope at fit to page and the card at 7" from Beyond Birthdays, the "S" was cut from base camp, at 4", the stamps are Autumn Leaves

Celebrate

I was inspired to make this card by a birthday card I received from Sharon (GrammaS) over at the cricut board. The scallop was cut from celebrations at 5" by cutting the number 5 w/blackout feature. I cut it again out of chipboard to put behind the cardstock, then pop dotted it.
I hand stitched a little jute in the corner. I think I will be able to use this for a guy when needed.

I always have such a struggle coming up with masculine cards. I found this one in May's issue of Card magazine. Perfect for my grandson who just turned 13.

Double pocket card

Enfys over at the cricut message board recently shared directions on how to make this doubble pocket card. It was so easy to make and I really like how it looks. The cardstock is doublesided from My minds eye, wild asparagus. The scalloped edge was cut with a Martha Stewart punch and attached to the side of card. The tags were cut from tags, bags, boxes and more at 4 1/2 with the hole option. The Irish blessing is a stamp and the other tag was computer generated.

Card for St. Judes

This card and envelope were cut from christmas cheer. The envelope was cut at fit to page. Then I cut the card twice at 8". One in solid cardstock and one in printed. I cut the scallop off the printed piece to add to the envelope, and another piece to add to the front of the card. The sticker was from my stash. I put a dot of diamond glaze on each scallop.

Card for St. Judes

I've been trying to get some cards made for the cards for kids drive. The cards will be delivered to St. Judes hospital. I think it's a great cause, and hope that if you're not already involved that you will check out the cricut messageboard to get more information.
